Anniversary Eve Surprise

We arrived in Paris about 11pm to start our wedding anniversary long weekend, and in the room waiting for us was a bottle of champagne and a compliments slip wishing us a happy anniversary. After a second or two I remembered that when I booked online, in the comments box (egged on by Ann, I must say) I put something along the lines of 'a wedding anniversary treat and any special touches would be much appreciated'... Well, it worked! Try it next time you book a hotel!
