Canal du Loing

A gorgeous Fall day today with wall-to-wall sunshine and warm temperatures, so I decided to go a little further afield for my walk and headed to the canal du Loing near Moret sur Loing. We had gone biking there a few weeks ago, and had seen several herons, swans and the usual ducks, so I was hoping to bring you some bird life today, but it wasn't to be - the birds were not to be seen today. I was surprised by this since much of the path lay between the river and the canal - you'd think it would be a popular area for birds. I was passed by several cyclists and a few joggers, but much of the time I had the path to myself.
