Branches

Fall colors can be stunning, but I think what makes them even more beautiful is the contrast against the dark branches. The colors aren't completely changed in this tree and I think the leaves will fall soon, but I thought it looked a little impressionistic with the blend of greens and oranges. We had the most beautiful sunrise this morning, which should have been my blip, but I was out walking with a friend WITHOUT my camera so it's only a memory. Today I am grateful for a hilly six mile walk with a friend, a coffee and treat afterward, and a trip to the toy store for the first Christmas shopping of the season!!
