What a difference a year makes!

To compare.

Well, no surprises as to who I would blip for my breast cancer survivor! Here is G a year on from her treatment. It must seem like ages to her as I overheard her tell someone it's been two years since she got the all clear! (Two years ago she didn't even know what changes were going to happen in her life!)

So progress report:
- The biggest thing is her hair growing back. The eyebrows make the biggest difference to facial features!!
- All tests/scans have come back clear. YAY!
- G is not back in full time teaching, but does supply (which she LOVES) and copes with 12-13 hour long days without making any noise about it.
- Appetite no problem though some things still don't taste quite the same.
- She is still very calm and has tons of patience.

She's got a head full of ideas of things she wants to do . . . so hopefully - with a new lease of life, she will get to do them!

Went back to Bur Juman in the evening; this time to register some colleagues for the Pink Walkathon which is happening on Friday. G wanted to be in amongst the pink and glitz in the Mall. She dressed up especially for this blip! :)
