the urban fox debate

I was brought up fairly near countryside and saw foxes as beautiful wild creatures. Once a fox got into our chickens. That wasn't a great day. But it was nature.

I love Sue's photos of Bingo, but sadly in South London the reality isn't quite as lovely.

These two young foxes have been hanging around all day today. They are prowling around and scratching a lot. (they are making me feel extremely itchy!) They make a lot of noise at night, scavenge through the bins and poo in the gardens.

Essentially they are beautiful wild animals, but they are having to adapt to a world where they need to be wily to survive and it's not their fault.

There seems to be no solution to which everyone can agree.

In the meantime I thought I'd blip these and record their day.
