Apples for tea

It’s wet. It’s wild. It’s not that warm either. Decided to cook some apples we picked yesterday. Some were far too small, like this one. Turned out to be cookers and delicious when fully grown. Yay for apples for tea. And a cheese 'n' potato pie from Mum’s recipe, and her Mum’s before her.

Staying in has its compensations sometimes,

And….

The apple does not fall far from the tree…..
