A Nip From A Hip

There was a thrush in the rose bush that looks over the fence from next door. You can see where it was feeding, leaving a hole in this bright red rose hip.

There was a lot of computer work today - necessary though not much fun! I did grad a quick walk around the local park and didn't even need a jacket in the lovely warm sun. And it's almost November!

A blue sky day - again - and the promise of next spring already evident in these buds-in waiting on the rose stems.
