John Coltrane - Acknowledgement

A pretentious self-portrait in heir of the photos of my Jazz heroes. As much as it is self-aggrandizing, through tough times there can only be one place that you can go to ultimately; yourself. This is where I feel myself to be right now, listening to John Coltrane and feeling again what it's like to be alive. Things will change and have as much permanence as the air (or toxic tobacco) being exhaled from your lungs. Whatever your perspective, you must be where you truly are, not hiding away from problems, but standing in your own truth. Doing what you feel is right.
