Back Blipped.

Went to the opening night of Trash Cannes Festival in Hastings, organised by our amazing friend Keith Rodway and held in the wonderful St Mary in the Castle.

It's a kind of punk film festival .... an excellent evening with lots of short films and interviews with film makers ..... one of the featured films was a documentary about TV Smith, punk songwriter, formerly of The Adverts. (It's here if you've got an hour to spare), followed by an interview with TV Smith and the filmmaker. Fascinating.


Anyway, took a lot of pictures, which are of variable quality, but they are here if interested.

This one is a picture of a film being screened with a person walking across in front ...... it's hard to tell if he is part of the film or not, which I thought was interesting, given that, rather like books, the meaning of a film lies in our minds and not on the screen.
