this is for you, daddy

had a super relaxed morning with girls out playing in the garden and then playing next door and then after lunch we headed round to the old street where we lived until last christmas. They had invited us back to the street party. We helped with it last year, that was the first year, let hope it continues. It was lovely to be there. The children had a ball, as did the grown ups.

Sadly as Barry poured the 32 year malt from the malt whiskey society it was time to get the girls home to bed. I did manage a quick taste before being whisked home. It was lovely.

Blip is little R picking some petals for me, I often have pockets full of leaves or stones or petals. I usually find them weeks later after they have been through the washing machine..
