Fame!

Today we went for a swim, the sea was amazingly warm (after the first shock of immersion!) and very smooth, so it was really good. Then we took the little tourist train around Cannes for a brief look at the town. While we were walking to the train we notised a series of hand prints on the pavement, all of famous people, including these.
Afternoon tea in the famous Carlton hotel where we were treated like royalty. We wound up the day with dinner at the L'Echiquier restaurant in Le Suquet, which made a lovely finish to a great day.
