Autumn reflections

The St Jude storm missed our area, but has clearly swept away the mild autumn, and freshened up the weather with a new crispness. Suddenly the leaves seemed to be turning, sprinkling the landscape with the treat that is Autumnal colours. A bright day and blue sky sets them off perfectly.

We headed over to visit Hampton Court Castle, near Hereford, just to get out and about with the kids. But what a wonderful place it turned out to be, with superb yet simple gardens, and an excellent Halloween 'dungeon', which was actually a dining hall and corridor, but darkened and decorated. Great fun!
