Dogwood in the landscape

The weather pulled me outside to do some shrub and bulb planting. I was beginning to get a little worried that Monty Don would find out I still hadn't planted all my daffodils. Only a few more to do now.

We have an uninterrupted view to the hills and I've blipped the view a number of times. From a shrub perspective, the wind just comes howling in and it'll have to be hardy to survive. There are other places for the wimpy ones.
