Day Out in Linlithgow

One of the great advantages of our current situation is that if it's a nice day, we can just head off and do something nice. Last week it was our trip to Callendar Park, today we headed to Linlithgow. We walked around the loch (and bumped into one of Ed's ex-Standard Life colleagues!) then went for lunch in Brodie's of Linlithgow. It was a really lovely cafe, we all enjoyed our lunch. My strategy for taking Conor out to lunch is to order soup and a sandwich. I give him a bit of the bread and about a third of the bowl of soup.

Our walk home from school today was spent collecting "autumn things". Orla really enjoyed looking for leaves of different shapes and colours. She wants to do printing with them. Sounds messy...
