Victoria and David replied to an invite

When we were orgainising my daughters first birthday party in 2000 we thought it would be nice to invite Brooklyn Beckham.

Obviously too young himself to reply his mum and dad replied for him. Victoria and David sat down and signed a photograph for my daughter.

Clearly they weren't sure of their plans on party day as neither did they send 'acceptance' or 'with regret'. Needless to say they didn't make the party.

Now - for all those out there who are looking to burst mine or my daughters little bubble here and the fact the Beckhams never saw the invitation, please don't try. I sent the invitation to Manchester United not expecting anything back at all. So the fact that someone whoever it may be saw the letter and responded was enough and if Victoria and David did see the invitation, well, its a bonus I'll never know about.
