Oil on Water

I tried some oil on water pics earlier this evening - with not a lot of success.

I had a perfect dish for doing this somewhere. I'm sure actually I had two identical dishes - one of which got accidentally kicked all the way down the stairs and reduced to lots and lots of bits - the other, well who knows where that has gone!

I made do with a tumbler - not ideal.......
