CCC: Snoozing Ladybird
Cuter in large ("L").
I had fun with my macro lens this afternoon. There was lots of light, and I found a ladybird... It was exploring, then settled down when it reached the edge of the leaf, and hunkered down for a rest. You can see that it has pulled its head back and underneath its pronotum for protection.
I've posted some alternatives; I struggled to choose...
What am I? - an unidentified insect (golden, with red eyes).
Finding a snoozing spot - this ladybird before it lay down.
Another ladybird on an autumn leaf.
Which would you choose?
