Piece

Continuing on with our 100 places in Cornwall that begin with the letter P challenge...............................

.............And today we went to 'Piece'.

There isn't very much at Piece! In fact if we're honest there's nothing at Piece!!! Not even a church - and we thought the definition of a village was; it had to have a church?

We've just googled 'definition of a village':

'A group of houses and associated buildings larger than a hamlet and smaller than a town, situated in a rural area.'

So then we googled 'definition of a hamlet':

'A small settlement, generally one smaller than a village, and strictly (in Britain) one without a church'.

We think 'Piece' is a hamlet??!!

Whatever??!!! Can't see any reason to go rushing back there!!!!!!
