Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunchtime. We enjoyed being out in the bright sunshine.

We walked down the field with the bridle path then along the cycle path to the gate to the little field. Before we crossed the railway line to get to the beach I stopped to get this shot back up the half mile to the school and church. The recently sown crops are coming along well.

The tide was out. We walked along the firm damp sand. 'Valhalla VI' was sitting on same spot on the sand in the channel through the rocks. At the Fishermen's huts two men were working. One inside his hut, the other painting something wooden outside one of the huts at the other end of the row. We walked along by the cottages and back across the railway line by the road bridge and carried along on our way home.
