Betula pendula

Or silver birch to you...I'm just showing off for Fido, who has some splendid birches in her blip today. Wikipedia tells me the name birch means 'bright, shining' and this one certainly shone like silver today, while dropping hundreds of little golden coins with each gentle breeze.

I haven't been far from home these last few days - but the garden is so blippable it maybe does not matter?
