Whatever you do, don't try cycling through this ford. Although the dipstick indicates that it is shallow, there is a concrete floor under the water which is smooth with algae. One false move and you will be in the drink.

I hope you are grateful for the advice. Don't take to much notice of the indicator on the map - I didn't have a clue where I was going. But my trusty companions navigated us through to the café stop.
