Afternoon tea in style...

After visiting a friend in hospital who had had a very nasty bicycle accident on Saturday, we visited a camera shop well used by the family and I bought a new lens for my Nikon D90...a 35mm f1.8. Thrilled and keen to use! Thank you GK and SweetArt for all your help on my photography journey!

Then on to The Peninsula Hotel for a pink afternoon tea in support of BCAM. We had dressed accordingly and joined others to take part in this very special occasion which the Peninsula have been holding every afternoon in October for several years. Everyone likes NICE every now and again and today we experienced it. Beautifully presented sandwiches, savouries, scones with jam and fresh cream and cake..and of course tea. SweetArt has better pictures of the food than me so do look at her blip and click to give a free mammogram too!

A lovely comfortable evening with the family has ended the day perfectly. My holiday is nearly over! It has been very special!
