Beckfoot Ford

I had an abortive shopping trip to Saltaire this morning, ostensibly to buy some new footwear but the price was exorbitant so I'll have to dig through the shoe cleaning cupboard this afternoon and see if I can't breathe life into my old pair. However as shopping is an anathema to me, I decided to combine it with a walk so at least I could get some exercise. This was taken on my way home at the Ford/Bridge on Beckfoot Lane. I think I passed half a dozen people all told on the walk along the canal, up the Lane and through St Ives, lovely!

I think even the 4x4 drivers might have been thinking twice about crossing the ford today!
