"we've all changed"

What a difference a year makes! I was so much happier sitting in Anstruther with my fish and chips last night instead of going on a train journey trek to Durham for the start of my training course for work a year ago today!

Durham was a lovely part of the world but it was 4 weeks of my life that I'll never get back! Even for a country girl like me, the training centre was too remote! Civilisation was a good 10min drive away!

But don't get me wrong, all these lovely course mates were great people and managed to keep me sane! It's sad that I've lost touch with the majority of them now, in particular the 6 from Belfast because being surrounded by the accent of home was just what I needed whilst being away from my friends in Dundee. I'm not sure if I'll see them again at the next course....
