Rosliston Forestry Centre

A beautiful bright, sunny day at the beginning of Half Term, and lots of happy families were making the most of Rosliston Forestry Centre (in South Derbyshire, not far from Walton-on-Trent).

Adventure trails, rickety bridges, lots of fun things to do and see.

But the raptors were the stars of the show. They were out enjoying the sunshine (safely attached to their perching posts.) Many of them were youngsters and their handlers were explaining about them to eager kids.

Apparently they also do Falconry days where you can learn to handle their magnificent birds.
