Inside my front fence

A blip to show Mum what I described to her yesterday.

Large so you can see more

Bark has replaced the stones. I'll see how this goes and how cat proof it isn't is. The potted geraniums I raised from cuttings and the Aloe Avera should help keep the fur child away (to somewhere more expansive for his lordship, and equally as annoying like the vege garden).

I might add some other pots too with colour and flowers, I'm just thinking about that. It's a good start. The new Clematis is just behind me. I covered the root area with bark and stones you collected from the glaciers. They'll keep the heat off the roots.

The path is still good old white concrete but it will be darker once coloured. I don't know when that will be, then again, they won't be paid until it's done. And the driveway :-)

The sticky-uppy things are the pumice with holes Dad drilled and put on metal rods. I've given them their spring clean and the green algae stuff has gone.

I've wiped the concrete slurry off the pots but the I'll leave the fence for the contractor to clean. Apparently a woman does that right at the end and I've been told she is so particular she won't let the guys near her job.

I'm not sure if I was supposed to sort this part of the front because the concreting job isn't finished. But a girl can't wait forever.

The cold old nor'easterly is back. I nearly froze just nipping out late in the day for this. So very different to the warmer nor'westerlies we've been having.

I have some other photos I'm sorting for Mum to see too. My usual tardy blip service will be even more tardy (if that's possible ;-)

A lovely dinner last night :-) Which reminds me, I still haven't eaten tonight. Better sort that now.
