Moping around indoors, unhappy with the cool and cloudy weather, it came to me that October 29 is the anniversary of my retirement from the newspaper game. The picture is by Geoff Pryor, for many years acclaimed cartoonist at the Canberra Times, and was presented to me at my farewell. I have deleted the dateline from under Geoff's signature. It had the year in it.
