Choo Choo Train

Ferrymead Heritage Park in Christchurch has been celebrating 150 years of railways in New Zealand, which accounts for more steam trains than usual puffing about.

A lovely day. For the first time in weeks there were no clouds about the mountains, just blue sky setting off the dusting of snow. Now that I can see almost the entire Torlesse Range from my back step they are more of a distraction than ever. I have been struggling to cut back bushes in my garden that get in the way of the view.
