The day after
So today was the day after St. Jude's storm which actually continued into today but we had the most of it last night and early this morning!!!
Our fence was the only thing that was effected in my house. But driving to Ipswich, the Needham Market why there was lots of debris and trees fallen into the road and so trees up from the roots!! In Ipswich there was a big tree which was probably has been there for a long time got blown over at the roots and left a big whole in the ground, as well as that there was a car with its window screen smashed. And it took ages to get anywhere in Ipswich because of the amount of Lorry's and cars trying to get around the river Orwell because they shut the bridge cause if high winds.
I think us British pulled through it very well, as it is the worst Autumn Storm we have had in years. At least we were warned this time than in 1987(I wasn't even alive then but I know about it).
There were loads of places effected by the storm, at The Needles, Isle Of Wight they saw winds that were 99mph which was shocking. Also in Sandown, Isle of Wight they saw a cliff erosion due to the wind and wet weather before hand and they experienced some flooding at the Library as well.
So after we came back from Ipswich I went to combs wood (which is bear my house) and to see the damage and there were quite a few trees and branches fallen down and some tree still set in the direction where the wind was blowing.
