Unseen Rainbow
An unseen rainbow,
Faint above red northern brick,
What does it foretell?
Open day at Leeds Met - as you can see the weather was a good deal better than further south..... although it wasn't like this all the time.
I took this picture of the rather grand frontage just as a matter of record really, but when I looked at it later I noticed the rainbow.....
The Uni had a great feel and the most amazing music facilities .... Greg and I were both impressed .....
Then it was back into Leeds for a wander and a bite to eat at a place run by this lady, which we stumbled across by accident ..... priceless ... why didn't I take her photo? I don't know, maybe I was scared... just a bit!
Anyway, then it was the start of the long trek home into the worsening storm.
The journey up and back were made bearable by chatting with Greg and listening to numerous CDs in our little warm bubble of music. Ranging from Gorrillaz, Keane, Muse, The Feeling, Red Hot Chili's, Coheed and Cambria, Free, Funeral for a friend, No doubt, to Massive Attack. Had we listened to the news and heard about Lou Reed Transformer would definitely have been on that list.
We decided it's time to bring back the album ... and that it's good to listen to things beginning to end, instead of just in 2 minute bursts.
Finally arrived home safely and without any trees falling on us as we drove through wind-lashed Sussex.
Phew!
