T-Rex in Edinburgh - day 3
Today T-Rex went to Drumbrae Library where he checked out the cancer screening leaflets available.
Evidence has shown that the earlier cancer is caught, the better the chances of survival are, therefore it is important detect cancer as early as possible which can be done for a number of cancers through screening, such as breast, cervical and bowel cancer. According to the BBC, in Scotland, bowel cancer screening which was introduced in 2007, has saved around 75o people.
