Wingfield Castle, Hartlepool

Children are so annoying.

Today we tried to treat the boys by doing something they've not done before; and took them to the ice rink.

They hated it!

C managed one lap with Mummy, whilst JJ clung to me and kept saying "don't want it" at the penguin, so we managed about 10 metres - accompanied by screams.

I get the impression that ice skating will not be on their to-do-list soon.

Decamped to the soft play, which was more fun and cheaper (£15 for about 5 minutes skating verus £4 for 30 mins in the soft play).

Came home, had toast, a quick nap for JJ then off to the marina in Hartlepool for lunch.

Tomorrow we go home, and Wednesday sees JJ back in nursery and wifey back to work; so allows C and me a few days for him to start behaving!

Fingers crossed, as he's been a wee devil for bloody ages now.
