After the storm!

Was woken up at 6.30am by banging noises and the wind blowing. We had the worst of it between 7.30 and 9, not very much rain and it was sunny for quite a lot of the day. 1 fence panel out in our garden, a tree fallen in a garden further up the road and a wall blown down.
Went out for breakfast with C and then back to do washing, housework etc. Should have been taking mum out for the day but we have changed it to Wednesday. Went for a walk late afternoon, lots of trees either down or leaning heavily on the single track road to the fields where I walk. Took this shot as the sun was going down, lovely time of day. The sky was looking fantastic as I walked round the fields but I liked this shot best.
Hope fellow blippers were not affected badly by the storm
