Calm after....

Well the hurricane force winds didn't quite materialise, but gusts of 75mph were recorded very early this morning. Today has been blustery with squally showers! For some reason this prompted the majority of my class to turn into amateur weather forecasters. They spent a disproportionate amount of time discussing wind speeds, freak waves and found it necessary to inform me every single time it began to rain!
Despite all this, it was a good day back after half term. This "straight from the phone" photo was taken in the parish of Forest whilst waiting for H to finish his swimming lesson. I thought the sky was beautiful. :-)
