Finale
The week's retreat went much quicker than last year's, no doubt because this time everything wasn't quite so new. But this was a wonderful group and an enriching experience, even though I picked up a chest infection quite early on during my stay. There are very few more worthwhile pastimes than developing positive mindstates after all.
We'd all initially offered one aim/goal each, that we wanted to attain by the end of our stay - mine was 'letting go'. There's no doubt that the week gave me huge space to do just that, but the work we did also offered a roadmap to pursue it in daily life too, once the familiar stresses resume. This photo is of my friend Laurence, photographing everyone's aims arranged in the centre of the Peace Hall, as the group finally came to an end.
