After the storm..

I think we got off lightly here. I woke up to wind and rain lashing against the windows at 03.40 but managed to get off to sleep again after I'd wedged a sick in the door to stop it rattling!
Hubby went off to the station because the trains were running 'albeit slowly' according to London Midland trains. He got a coffee, sat on the train for 30 mins and then got off when they announced all service was suspended due to another tree falling near Watford and came home!!
I thought he was a bit hopeful!
The weather soon cleared and was lovely and sunny but there were damsons and pears everywhere so I spent 4 hours in the garden picking them up and mending barricades to stop Tia getting at them! I think I've cracked it now but knowing that dog, she'll probably find a way..!
I think I have 'gardeners elbow' from sawing...
Sausage casserole in the oven and then a jacuzzi bath I think! :-)
