OUR ONLY VICTIM OF LAST NIGHT'S STORM

Just as well it WAS a night storm - this lot fell onto a footpath! Priority today was to open passage for the walkers but in the near future this tree may need to be felled. It has had dead limbs for a few years - too much dead wood for my tree surgeon to consider climbing it. Now it is under the strain of having its crown way off-centre. Oh dear, gloomy prospects for this one.
