A walk on the wild side

In between showers today, the light was amazing, sunshine and rainbows with slate grey sky. The promised storm seems to have passed us by.

I had a nice surprise visit from a friend who was in the area. The joiner came and mended a window. Then Eldest Son and I went for a walk in the woods. I had been wanting to photograph this tree before all its leaves fell. This is a badger's eye view.

We walked on to Routin Brig, where we saw a huge salmon trying to leap up the waterfall - an impossible task after all the rain.
