Silver birch

DDW's October 2013 Challenge Day 28: Metal

I chased clouds on the way home from work attempting to snap some silver linings but each time I got a view of one it was somewhere I couldn't pull over. Then I remembered there are three mature silver birches in the garden. Thankfully I got home with just enough daylight to take some shots.

The next few days should bring some very long awaited news. I hope it's a silver lining, I hope we can finally start making actual plans and I hope we can finally shout about and celebrate them. Being apart sucks.
