With a heavy heart...

At 6.30 this morning our beloved False Acacia crashed to the ground. Uprooted by a fierce gale force wind. It's over sixty years old and was a wedding present to the previous neighbors . They moved on and the new neighbors built an underground cinema( beyond me as to why you would even WANT one?!) and the roots of the tree were severely damaged during the building of this white elephant . We will miss the graceful presence of this tree. Thankfully the storm has passed now. I hope you are all safe and sound.
