"Battening down the hatches"

Laundry, changed the beds, did some sewing, then down to Emmett's gardens for the buggy shift. Very few people out this afternoon needing the buggy so spent time instead putting away potentially flyaway objects inside and securing the plants under wooden benches..

The buggy even had its rain covers down.. And here's one if the pumpkin decorations..

Home to gather together the clothes for this weeks Jersey trip and catch up on TV..

Winds certainly picking up by the river and news of trains being cancelled already!!
