Riding Out the Storm

We seem to have got away with it! It was a rough night and the wind was certainly howling around us at times. It seems as though the winds got stronger to the east of us with the strongest winds to the south and east.

This morning I had to get up and out to the Doctor's for my flu jab and after that I went to Teignmouth and had a walk along the front. The waves were crashing against the sea wall even though the tides are not that high at the moment. The sun was shining beautifully ... at least it was for a while until a shower blew in and gave me a bit of a drenching.

It was hard to choose which one to blip so Ive put the others on Flickr if you'd care to take a look. I do like the black and white one but decided in the end to go with this long exposure one.
