Pancake Friday
And why not.
Mrs Delphwynd is back from her travels, the jet-lag's worn off and there's been a flurry of activity involving dusters, Dyson's and daughters.
I've posted a couple of times recently of the trials and tribulations of day-to-day life as a temporary single parent and have came out the other end much wiser and much more exhausted than I'd imagined. It's a two man job this parenting lark sure enough.
So it was really nice to arrive back home tonight and be greeted with the offer of either a glass of Pear Cider or Lemsip (bit of man-flu, nothing major and no prize for guessing what one I went for).
It was also really nice to see Mrs D getting in a bit of quality parenting and showing Heather how to make pancakes in pyjamas (Heather, not the pancakes). As much as H would be loathe to admit it, it was so much more fun than hanging around the shopping centre pestering folk to buy them bottles of Mad Dog 20/20 and puking up an hour later (been there, got the sick stained T-Shirt).
And the pancakes were damn tasty too.
I feel all warm and fuzzy now.
Have a Great weekend blippers :-)
