Called to say hello!

There seems to be a bit of a theme of miniature creatures around my home at the moment. This little newt was sitting in the back door frame sheltering from the rain. Until I saw the picture I didn't realise he had a stripe down his back. Very cute!

We dodged the storm, though I understand others have not been as lucky. My sister and her kids are on the way to stay for a few days, so while I had a little peace I thought I would post this.
