New Friends / Old Principles
Blonde - It's You
Attempted still life, using a recently acquired camera. As usual, having poured over information about it, I eventually gave in (with a little encouragement from my friends) and bought it with the sole principal of carrying around a lot less weight on my shoulders and wrists. Having only had it for less than a day, 200 over photos have already been taken, playing with a whole bunch of settings. As expected, there's a green bias from the sensor, but that can always be fixed up later. Some people enquire what camera I'd be moving with next and when I tell them about a mini-interchangeable lens camera there was some resignation, but the principles remain the same technically and again, it's about enjoying the act of taking a photo, not about how expensive it is. Such things eventually fade away into dust in the end so you might as well live and enjoy the moment doing what you love. If it's about buying the most expensive thing to gain some sort of personal security, then so be it. I'm having a shitload of fun with this new little guy.
