After the storm

The intense weather situation predicted to dominate southern England overnight didn't seem quite as bad as predicted. It was very windy however and I was awoken at around 6am by the sound.

Outside my road was littered with broken trees and I spent some time hauling them to the side of the road so my neighbour could get to work.

Walking to Queens Park the damage didn't seem quite so bad, considering there were more trees. The park was closed to the public however, so I walked over to Salisbury Road for a coffee and word of sympathy for Juartes who had to start the clear up.
