Suede

In Glasgow to see Suede at the legendary Barrowlands.

Filthy night, made worse by the news that Lou Reed had died and compounded by the fact that I had a spare ticket that nobody seemed to want/need (I'd have happily given it away). Was kinda regretting coming.

And then the band hit the stage and were totally fantastic. Setlist was great, crowd were up for it, the band were tight and Brett (the singer) was amazing. Haven't enjoyed a gig as much for a long, long time. Spent most of the evening with a huge grin on my face.

Which was then wiped away by discovering that the M8 was shut. I only know one way from Glasgow to Edinburgh! Had a nice middle-of-the-night detour through the scenic central belt desperately trying to remember where all the Scottish towns are in relation to Edinburgh...
