Armadale

Off to Armadale (West Lothian, not Skye) for the Green House Harvest event. This is an environmental community art project from the lovely Vision Mechanics. There are four Green Houses planted with flowers and vegetables, etc, each representing a room in a house - Armadale's was the bathroom - hence the mobile made of bathroom products..... Truly a community project, driven forward by Sammy, who volunteers at Sunny Dale Association, West Lothian Council and local partners, and well supported by the community. Puppet shows, homemade soup, bread, scones & jam (from their harvest) & it was time to head back to Edinburgh in the rain. A brilliant project.

Keep an eye out for the North Edinburgh Green House early next year - it's the living room!
