Enchanted

So 12 years ago today my Dad passed away suddenly. Still miss him terribly but can't believe it has been 12 years already.

Every year on the Sunday closest to 27th my Mum puts flowers in her church as a mark of remembrance. I try my best to attend to support my Mum. This year was no exception and was the reason Hannah and I had a sleepover at Mums last night. So off the three of us went to Church this morning. Not only were we there but Hannah thought it must be a very special day indeed since her Aunties Carolyn, Nicola and Alison were also at Grandma's church! Think the whole church was talking about us! ;) Anyway the flowers were lovely as usual and the service very uplifting. Unknown to the minister was that the first hymn of the service was Mum and Dad's first hymn on their Wedding day.

Anyway back to today's blip. Basically Hannah and I had a quick lunch back at Grandmas with all her special Aunties before heading back home. Quick change before all five of us headed to Pitlochry to attend The Enchanted Forest
What a great night albeit very wet. Kids had a ball. Think this was mainly due to the fact that they thought it must be really really late since it was pitch dark but they were still up and outside roaming about a forest in the dark! The wet weather didn't dampen the crowds. The show was terrific and definitely worth a visit although you will now have to wait until 2014 since today was the last show for this year.
