Batten down the hatches...

Well today was again pretty blurgh weather-wise. Lots of wind and rain. The fence in the back garden is looking a bit wobbly - so that's now shored up with extra wood and ratchet strapped to the tree. Hanging baskets and bird feeders down, bins tucked away... And that's about all we can do - just hope that we get through it in one piece.

I'm sure people living in areas that experience more extreme weather are wondering what all the fuss is about, but we're just not used to it over here. Nothing is designed nor built to withstand it. Here's to a restless night me thinks.

On a positive side Southern Rail have canceled all trains before 9am - glad I decided to take that holiday now!

In other news, watched and enjoyed 'Rise of the Guardians' and finished a painting this weekend.
